Audrey & Michael had an elegant tropical-infused wedding in the hacienda-style resort of Estancia La Jolla. Every corner of this picturesque Southern California venue was bursting with stunning succulents, palm trees, and cacti. The couple carried that green goodness into the rest of their wedding decor – simple white flower bouquets overflowing with greenery, monstera leaves for placemats, botanical stationery designs, peacock chairs dripping with florals. Every detail was absolutely gorgeous!
Also, this might be my favorite groom (and mother-of-the-groom) reaction (thanks to my amazing second shooter Paige Nelson for capturing those HD tears). This groom was really smitten with his bride – I don’t think they hardly left each other’s side the entire night. Earlier, when I asked Michael if he had vows I could photograph, and he said no, I jokingly responded, “You got them memorized?” (assuming they weren’t doing personal vows). But he really DID have them memorized! Put that down as a first for me to photograph. And they were beautiful and heartfelt and brought on all the more tears.
I know I say this about all my weddings, but this was definitely one of my favorites. Everyone was so much fun and so incredibly chill and they all really knew how to tear it up on the dance floor!
Congrats Audrey & Michael! I wish you a lifetime of being this madly in love with each other!
